Well today hasn't been very productive, I have to say.
I started to re-arrange my room, so I have a "studio" corner and a "clothes and make-up" corner, instead of it all being jumbled up together (It's not very impressive when you have socks strewn across your DJ decks or hanging off your bass tuning screws). Alas, it's half past midnight and my bed is still piled up with clothes/junk/instruments etc.
I decided the gym would be a nice break for an hour, so off I went. 20 mins into my relaxing swim, I pulled some muscle in my pelvic region (always warm up kids!) and that was that. Of course that means now that it's extremely painful to lift anything, such as heavy boxes and chest of drawers. Hmm. Not helpful.
Not to mention I have spiders flying at my head from all directions!
I thought the "Queen, Live at Wembley `86" DVD would be good to put on as it's one of my usual sources of motivation, but today I just wanted to sit and watch the whole thing.. It made me a bit melancholy because, a) I wasn't there (too young) and b) I will never see Freddie Mercury perform with my own eyes. As far as performances go, I truly believe every performer should study that particular concert, whether a Queen fan or not. I think I actually know it all word for word, but I never get sick of it. Children should be made to watch it at school, footballers should be made to watch it before a match, soldiers should be made to watch it before going into battle.. You catch my drift!
Anyway, I am stalling. Freddie, if you're up there reading this, please give me the strength to finish tidying my room, I just gave you a wicked plug!!
Thanks,
Lots of love,
Rosie x
Well, I seem to be posting blank blogs at the moment, which reflects how much of a grip I have on this site right now ;)
It's a beautiful day here in Bristol so I should be outside making the most of it, but instead I am indoors trying to update this thing. Who said I didn't take this music thing seriously?!
Welcome to anyone who's reading this anyway, I have no idea where this ends up really so I will hope for the best that I'm not making a fool of myself!
If you have never heard us before, then I hope you like the tunes on here (they are new demos).. Any feedback is welcome, of course!
If you have heard us/seen us etc. before then please make yourselves known so we feel loved! :)
